Modeling and measurement of scattering from rough asphalt surfaces at millimeter-wave frequencies

Discusses predictions and measurements of co- and cross-polarized backscattering coefficients for rough asphalt road surfaces with application to radar returns. To develop a comprehensive scattering model for the surface the integral equation method is integrated into the scattering model.
