Extended abstract: Extending creativity in the engineering classroom

This presentation discusses strategies for building student creativity in the context of undergraduate engineering education. In particular, the presentation reports on recent developments in a Humanities & Social Science elective course, APS325: Engineering and Science in the Arts, offered by the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering at the University of Toronto. In regard to this course, the presentation will summarize some of the creative activities already in place and suggest additional activities to further develop students' creative abilities.
