Designing PID Controllers by Means of PSO Algorithm Enhanced by Various Chaotic Maps

This paper presents results of the utilization of four different discrete chaotic maps as pseudo-random number generators for the particle swam optimization algorithm in the task of PID controller design for two different systems. The results are compared with previously published results and discussed.
