Modelling in the HF network design process

Modelling can play a significant role in the design process by providing the ability to trade off a wide range of parameters in a cost effective and well controlled manner. The author presents an example of how modelling has been used to assist the design specification of an HF radio network and to predict its performance under a wide range of conditions.<
