Multidisciplinary Engine Simulations At The NASA Lewis Research Center

The Numerical Propulsion System Simulation is a program focused on reducing the cost and time in-developing aero propulsion engines by addressing the multidisciplinary nature of thJ.3 problem early on and by applying new computer hardware and software techniques into this process. Together with NPSS's Industrial partners and Universities, the program has established short term milestones designed to guide the progress of integrating the disciplines, components, high performance, computing and advanced networks into a dynamic and flexible simulation environment.
