Nonlinear forced vibration analysis of free-form nanotube conveying fluid

Nonlinear forced vibration of a free-form nanotube conveying fluid is investigated. The geometric form of the nanotube in the proposed model is considered by employing a Non-Uniform Rational B-Spline (NURBS) representation. The solution of the equation and the frequency response of the system are analytically obtained considering the resonance condition by means of the multiple scales method. Effects of different parameters such as fluid velocity and waviness on the frequency response of a specific nanotube curvature are investigated.
