Microstrip filters based on 2-D photonic crystal

The properties of microstrip structure with the regular resonators and based on 2-D photonic crystal with dimension 2×3 are investigated theoretically and experimentally. An opportunity to create filters with high frequency selective characteristics and based on 2-D microwave design is demonstrated.
