Application of a near-field compensation method for widening the microstrip antenna matching band

The way of near field reactivity compensation for the coaxial probe exciting the circular microstrip antenna is described. The study of circular 18-mm radius microstrip antenna made of 3,14-mm thickness and permittivity of 2,2 material and matched by dielectric disk made of permittivity 5 material is provided. The X-band antenna matching results are presented.
