Intense Ion Beam Transport And Focusing For ICF

Transport and focusing of an intense ion beam from an accelerator to a fusion target is required for LIF and HIF. Many transport modes have been examined. Current transport research may be divided into three categories: near-term, intermediate-term, and far-term. Research in each of these categories is discussed.
