Dynamic analysis of hysteresis control strategy based on ripple characteristics

This paper propose a fast transient buck converter using hysteresis PWM control, which is based on output ripple voltage and inductor ripple current for charging and discharging characteristics of capacitor C. The proposed control strategy is very simple and solves the compensation problem of the error amplifier in conventional voltage PWM control. It achieves both faster transient response and quasi switching frequency to meet the challenges of the load. At last, the steady-state and dynamic operation of the proposed control strategy are analyzed and verified by simulation and experimental results.
