Resonant converter based modulator control for magnetron with variable load

This paper presents an efficient compact resonant power supply and control methodology for high voltage applications such as a magnetron modulator in an industrial microwave source. The paper considers the control of the converter in applications which have a variable load nature which can negatively affect the efficiency of the power conversion.
