Overall Water Splitting under Broadband Light Using InGaN/GaN Nanowire Heterostructures

Here we report stoichiometric and stable evolution of H
₂
and O
₂
from pure (pH ~7.0) water under ultraviolet, blue and green light irradiation using wafer-scale InGaN/GaN triple-band nanowire heterostructures.
