Investigation of field emission properties of PAN CF

We compare field emission properties of different types of PAN CFs. Firstly we studied CFs SEM images to compare their emitting surfaces. Then, several CFs were placed into a vacuum chamber to get field emission images and critical current. Most of CFs are undergoing long-term testing in sealed devices now.
