Systems modeling for heavy ion drivers-an induction linac example

A source-to-target model for an induction linac driver for heavy ion fusion has been developed and is described here. Design features for a reference case driver that meets the requirements of one current target design are given, and the systems analyses supporting the point design are discussed. Directions for future work are noted.
