Robust Stability of Operator-Based Nonlinear Control Systems

Robust stability and output tracking performance are important issues in control engineering. This chapter discusses both issues, using various design methods and achieves desired results on single-input-single-output (SISO) system control design. It discusses a design problem of continuous-time unstable plants with input constraints and tracking characteristics. The features of this method do not need to consider the reference signal limitation and plants that are exponentially unstable. Operator theory-based robust nonlinear control for multi-input-multi-output (MIMO) nonlinear systems is given, in the chapter, by right factorizing the operators relating to the coupling effects. The chapter discusses a networked robust nonlinear feedback control system by using operator-based robust right coprime factorization. The problems of time-varying delays and unmodeled uncertainties are also discussed.
