Statistics of the electric field strength in a controlled multipath environment

A study of the statistics of the electric field strength over a planar region in an controlled multipath environment was conducted. This paper compares both measurements and geometrical-optics-based simulation. Agreement was obtained and the field was verified to follow the Ricean statistical distribution.
