Nonlinear modeling and analysis of valley V2 controlled buck converter

After dimension reduction, the boundary voltage of valley V

controlled buck converter is deduced under different operation states. Based on it, the equivalent one-dimensional discrete-time model is established and complex nonlinear behaviors are emphatically studied in this paper. The stability and bifurcation property are analyzed in detail. The research results show that valley V
²
controlled buck converter occurs period-doubling bifurcation and border-collision bifurcation with circuit parameters variation. Simulation platforms are implemented and the corresponding results verify the validity of equivalent discrete-time model and theoretical analysis.
