The simulation of permanent magnet synchronous motor control system for electric vehicle

The paper describes the current application situation of the electric vehicle motors and control algorithms. The mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor is established through the coordinate transformation, meanwhile the linear decoupling equation of PMSM state is also derived, two vector control algorithms named i
_d
=0 and maximum torque/current ratio are discussed especially, and their control models are simulated and compared under Matlab/Simulink environment, then the parameter of the drive motor is designed and selected for a certain county electrical vehicle. Finally, the vehicle model combined with the PMSM control model finishes three typical driving condition simulations, completing the research of the PMSM control system for electric vehicle and verifying the effectiveness of the control system.
