Hydrofoil Catamaran pitching / heave robust H2 / H∞ control research

The pitch and heave movement of Hydrofoil Catamaran was heavily in high speed navigation. It was proposed that adding controllable flags on the hydrofoil, control the flags' corner in order to reduce pitch and heave movement. Control system mathematical model of Hydrofoil Catamaran pitch and heave movement was been created and transformed into state-space equations. Because of the measurement error of the model parameters and operating environment change, some paramaters in the system was uncertain. Lyapunov stability theorem was been used to deduce robust H

control law for the system with uncertain parameters. The results showed that controller system contained uncertain parameters, the control method still can make the hydrofoil catamaran pitching a decreased by over 70 method not only could reduce pitch also had strong robustness.
