Application of sevice sector organization standards for highspeed railway operation and management

With the development of high-speed railways in China, it is necessary to promote standardization in operation and management to achieve acknowledge of the international society. On the basis of systematic theory and process approach, considering that railway transportation industry belongs to service sector instead of secondary industry, a system is established with the applications of Standard System of Organization in Service Sector. It elaborates the building progress of the standard system and discusses the necessity and significance of establishing high-speed railway operation and management standard system in China.
