Analysis of motional capacitance of quartz-crystal tuning fork tactile sensor using both L -shaped bar model and electromechanical coupling coefficient

We analyzed the motional capacitance of the quartz-crystal tuning-fork tactile sensor applying the relation of the dynamic electromechanical coupling coefficient to the system which consisted of L-shaped bar having four faces of the arms covered with electrodes and the elastic foundation (Winkler foundation) applied to materials in contact with the base of the L-shaped bar. As a result of analyzing the motional capacitance of the quartz-crystal tuning-fork tactile sensor, it turned out that the tuning fork structure originated in the capacitance change induced by the Young's modulus of objects in contact.
