Evaluation of PET image quality and distortions in simultaneous clinical PET/MR

In this paper, PET image distortions in PET/MR need to be documented during the start-up phase. They can potentially be limited if protocols are optimized. Not all artifacts in routine imaging are fully reproducible and, thus, mandate immediate attention prior to adopting PET/MR in routine imaging.
