Graphene magnetoplasmons: Principles and applications

Magnetoplasmon waves in a doped graphene strip are investigated. It is shown that a magnetically biased graphene strip can support bulk and edge magnetoplasmons, with the edge modes exhibiting non-reciprocal properties. Both chemically and electrically doped graphene strips are considered and the effect of the nonuniform carrier density in an electrically doped graphene strip is studied. The non-reciprocity of the modes is used to realize plasmonic non-reciprocal devices.
