Decision making and technology transfer

Summary form only as given. Economic issues involving technological progress and the international transfer of technology are increasingly important. However, research in this area is hampered by a scarcity of theoretical and empirical analysis, especially on decision making processes. This paper examines reported experiences, proposes a research classification, and provides recommendations and criteria for development of a future model.
