Asynchronous single-shot optical sampling of high-repetition-rate signals using temporal magnification

We demonstrate single-shot characterization of an ultrafast, high-repetition-rate pulse source using an asynchronously-pumped, time-lens-based temporal magnifier. Additionally, we show frequency compression that can be used for real-time high-speed RF spectral characterization.
