1.3 µm 28 Gb/s EMLs with hybrid waveguide structure for low-power-consumption CFP2 transceivers

1.3 μm 28 Gb/s EMLs with novel hybrid waveguide structure were demonstrated. The EMLs achieved high output power and high extinction ratio under the condition of low operating current, low modulation voltage and high chip temperature.
