MPI tracer magnetization simulated using a Kinetic Monte Carlo method

From agreement between simulations and experiments, we conclude that MPI tracers can be treated as ferromagnets under typical field conditions. By varying the dispersion of the anisotropy field of each particle, we effectively modeled features of the hysteresis curve that were expected due to the presence of size distribution in the particles and we properly predicted notable features of the magnetization, such as appearance of hysteresis as a function of size and frequency.
