Analysis of the Radio Propagation Model at RFID Applications

Sufficiently accurate propagation models are essential for the realization of location based solutions on basis of RFID. Based on approaches of cellular radio, analysis will be conducted with the aim of creating models that allow for increased precision in position detection of objects in a dynamic environment, considering several moving objects in the radio field. During the first step requirements of a model environment were measured and compared with conventional propagation models. The outcome will make it possible to specify which propagation model is closest to the measured results. Approximating real propagation helps to create simulations and estimate the position detection of tagged objects.
