A low power MCU design for battery-less TPMS SoC

This paper presents an application specific RISC MCU for TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitor System) SoC. A reconfigurable low power design method is proposed based on system level and IP module level. In addition, software design for the TPMS application is presented. The whole design combines hardware with software. Synthesis, placement and routing have accomplished on 0.35μm BCD process. layout has been made and a PCB has been fabricated to offer a hardware simulation platform for IP cores on TPMS SoC.
