Technical and management note: Technical translation is a management problem

When a contract has been signed for the supply of advanced electronic equipment together with documentation in a foreign language, translations have to be made. Some of the problems resulting from this are discussed. Because they appear to concern few people, higher management may wish to ignore them. This may not be the best course.
