Possibility for improvements of energy efficiency in telecommunications networks

In this paper, impact of power consumption from different parts of telecommunications networks to telco-operator's costs is considered. Different models and strategic aspects of decreasing power consumption and improving energy efficiency is exposed, as well as technics for energy efficancy's management in existing segments of telecomnetworks. This paper actuate importance of energetic efficiancy for sustainable operator's business with attention on situation in Serbia.
