Reusing certified, safety-critical avionics software

Done well, reuse can be cost/schedule effective, even for certified, safety-critical avionics software. Binary modularity is key. Don't change the binary, don't change the certification artifacts . I/O abstraction is key. Enables reconfiguration for different targets (including multicore or multi-processor architectures).
