Fabrication: chip fabricators run the `anchor leg′ in producing a complex chip in the allotted time: they begin on day 15 and finish on day 31

Major changes will be needed in widely accepted fabrication practices to make the one-month chip a feasible attainment throughout the semiconductor industry. That fabricators can do the job in the two weeks allotted to them - chip design accounts for the first two weeks -is already being demonstrated by some chip manufacturers.
