Meeting preview: Electro '82: Micros, fiber optics, and robotics: The frontiers of technology and its application to systems will be explored in Boston, May 25 to 27

Electro '82, the leading electronics exhibition and convention in the eastern United States, is expected to draw more than 40 000 professionals to Boston this month for a look at 1150 exhibit booths manned by more than 600 companies and a chance to participate in 36 technical sessions. New products, more than a few surprises among them, will be shown. New developments in such fields as microprocessors, software, and robotics will be discussed.
