Small-scale fading determination with a ray-tracing model, and statistics of the field

A ray-tracing model based on geometrical optics is used to predict the small-scale fading in a conventional indoor environment. The simulated field strengths are compared to measured fields and the fading of the field is shown to follow the Ricean probability distribution.
