Laser acceleration in the radiation-pressure-regime from ultra-thin polymer foils

We present first time data of monoenergetic multi-ion acceleration in the radiation-pressure-dominated regime from few nm polymer foils. PIC-Simulations highlight a combined model of RPA with a field-dominated post acceleration process.
