Applicability of higher-order FDTD schemes with Berenger's ABC for indoor fading channels

The finite difference time domain algorithm is applied to large computational problems, e.g. wave propagation inside buildings, using higher-order discretizations in combination with the highly accurate Berenger absorbing boundary condition. Grid dispersion and numerical anisotropy is decreased, which results in reduced memory usage and CPU time. The applicability of these schemes for indoor fading channels is illustrated with some examples.
