The IEEE/IEC pulse standards — Basic tools for waveform analysis

This paper describes the organization and content of the new IEEE pulse standards and presents material that illustrates their use. These standards (and their International Electrotechnical Commission counterparts) complement instruments that digitize, store, and analyze waveforms. Together, the standards and these relatively new instruments provide means for automated pulse waveform analysis.
