A new maximum power point tracking control method of proton exchange membrane fuel cell's system

Devices for storage the electrical energy have become increasingly attractive. Fuel cell is a clean and efficient source of electricity. In order to bring up the system efficiency, this paper Perturb and Observe Control (P&O) method for Maximum Power Point Tracking of PEMFC's System. In this work a complete study of PEMFC's system integrating an MPPT controller is studied, also simulation work dealing with MPPT controller, a DC/DC boost converter feeding a resistive load is achieved. The simulation result of designed Perturb and Observe. P&O has better response time, less oscillation and much more accurate tracking. Significant extracted results are given to prove the validity of the proposed PEMFC's system control scheme. In this paper, simulation model of PEMFC system's maximum power point tracking based on the P&O control method is developed in the MATLAB software.
