High-capacity optical interconnects using WDM photonic integrated circuits in GaAs

A new approach to optical interconnects, based on WDM transmission in 0.85μm window by using regrowth-free multi-guide vertical integration photonic circuits in GaAs, is proposed as a cost-efficient solution to high-capacity point-to-point links.
