Worst Case Power Noise Estimation and Compensation Design for Zero Coupling with Multiple Switching I/Os

In this paper, an accurate estimation of the worst case power noise coupling with multiple switching sources is proposed based on multisource transfer function. Phase and position compensation methods are proposed for zero power noise coupling with multiple switching sources, respectively. These two compensation methods do not add any component or change the power plane, while still maintaining enough suppressed bandwidth and good signal integrity.
