Detection ground slow moving target by airborne Along- and Across-Track interferometric SAR

Detection ground slow moving target by airborne Interferometric SAR (InSAR) with Along- and Across-Track baseline is a challenging issue. The terrain clutter and the terrain interferometric phase are the two main factors that are coupled into the real Along-Track Interferoemtric (ATI) phase caused by moving target's velocity. In this paper, based on the analysis of the comprehensive moving target's interferometric phase model, a method using the three steps to compensate the terrain interferometric phase is presented. After terrain phase compensation, the entire detection flow chart is also presented. The experimental data collected by the Chinese first InSAR system with hybrid baseline (designed by the Institute of Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, IECAS) are used to validate the proposed method.
