Radiation life of the CDF Run II Silicon Detector

The Tevatron Collider at Fermilab, whose last run ended September 30

2011, delivered over the last decade an integrated luminosity of 12 fb
^-1
. The CDF Run II Silicon Detector has thus been exposed to intense radiation exceeding the original detector design endurance of 3 fb
^-1
. Radiation damage effects suffered by the sensors over its very fruitful -in physics output terms - life are reviewed.
