Experimental Investigation on Dehydration Equipment in Wet Electrostatic Precipitator

The separation efficiency and resistance loss of curved plate affected by blade spacing, and velocity and average particle size are experimentally investigated. Meanwhile, a new measuring device is used to detect the moisture content. The results show that dehydration efficiency and resistance loss gradually decrease with the blade spacing of curved plate increasing. Resistance loss and dehydration efficiency increases within critical velocity as the gas velocity enhances. Dehydration efficiency decrease with the atomizing particle size, but resistance loss isn't significantly changed, herewith providing some referential material for design and production of such curved plate.
