WebGL implementation in WebKit based web browser on Android platform

Android OS has gained much popularity in relatively short period, spreading from mobile devices into set-top box, automotive and internet tablet markets. To meet users' growing expectations of multimedia content delivery methods new open standards, like HTML5 and WebGL, are introduced. WebGL is accelerated 3D graphics library for web, based on OpenGL ES 2.0 (hereinafter GLES2). This paper presents one solution for WebGL implementation on ARMv7 set-top box with Android Gingerbread as target platform.
