License-based Access Control in EPCglobal Networks

Anti-counterfeiting in RFID-aided supply chains builds on the retrieval and analysis of distributed EPC event data. Combining event data with third-party information can lead to exposure of business secrets or product resp. user profiles. We share details about our license-based access control prototype to protect the privacy of business parties. Our developed security enhancements are designed following the principle privacy-by-design proposed by the European Commission to minimizing the amount of exposed data for unknown supply chain parties.
