Bidirectional texture mapping

Texture mapping is an important technique for high-quality image generation in computer graphics. In this paper, the sbortcoming of the traditional texture mapping approaches is analysed and a general bidirectional texture mapping method is proposed. Based on the bidirectional mapping an algorithm for mapping an image to an arbitrary polygon in 3D space is given.
