An empirical research about A+H share dual-listing's influence on corporation governance in China

This paper statistically describes the current situation of A+H share dual-listed companies from listing time, ownership structure, industry distribution. Based on these, it also compared the governance level between A+H share dual-listed companies with A share companies in mainland, hereby to measure the governance effect on companies in mainland which are dual-listed in Hong Kong. In this paper, 12 governance indexes are used to do the analysis from the view of internal and external governance. From it, it is found that in the view of external governance index, the A+H share dual-listed companies perform better than A share companies in mainland.
