Preparation of the glucose sensor based on nano-au modified electrode

In recent years, the nano-materials, which have advantages of small particle size, large specific surface area, high surface reactive activity, good catalytic activity and strong adsorptivity, have attracted considerable attention. Their electrochemical properties were investigated The senses have been successfully applied for the determination of glucose and the result also showed that the non enzymatic glucose sensor had good current response to glucose in alkaline medium. Under optimal conditions, the developed glucose biosensor exhibited fast response to glucose and linear ranges were 0.2 to 175.2 μmol/L, with a detection limit of 0.15 μmol/L. In addition, the as-prepared biosensor exhibiter superior stability high sensitivity and good selectivity.
