Evidence-based learning in information technology education: Principle and case

Evidence-based learning is an individual level of evidence-based process to achieve learning goals, which is a new learning style supported by the information technology. As a kind of problem based learning, evidence-based learning emphasizes the critical appraisal of the learners to the learning content, which is beneficial for cultivating students' critical thinking. Through the analysis of relevant references, the article elaborates the connotation, patterns as well as process of evidence-based learning, and probes into the information technology's support to it from learning resources, process, evaluation and reflection. Finally, by analyzing a teaching case, the article introduces how to design and implement evidence-based learning in the information technology education, which provides other subject teachings with some references.
